The one thing I hate about the way Blogger uploads photos is that it never inserts them somewhere in the text-- the photos ALWAYS end up at the top of my entry, which means they're out of order, and I have the hardest time rearranging everything.
Luckily for this entry, I'm just posting pictures of my family and the event really doesn't require an order.
I visited my mother's family this past weekend. Saturday through Sunday. It was pretty fun, although a little bit tiring and frustrating for reasons I won't put here, although I will be more than happy to rant elsewhere, if you know what I mean. I'll just leave these up with brief captions.

My eldest Uncle's daughter, her husband, her daughter(千千), and 大阿姨 (Big Aunt). We were just sitting and chatting in the main living room and eating fruit. Lots of fruit.

阿公! He's such a cute little old man. Getting kind of weak though. For some reason he went in the back and came back out with a huge handful of ... water lily leaves?I'm not quite sure.

千千 and 大姊姊. 千千 and I hit it off right away. She's really cute and looks just like her mother, which means she's going to grow up and be quite the looker. Talkative and inquisitive, she definitely is an adorable child. She's almost four. 大姊姊, on the right, the eldest grandchild (and, for that matter, still unmarried and "boyfriendless," although I keep wondering who this "小胖" is that she keeps mentioning, eh eh?!) has got all the symptoms of hyperthyroidism and almost definitely has it (if she doesn't, someone punch me in the neck then, because hers bulges out almost more than mine does), which also makes her super skinny. I hate how Asian girls are so eager to lose weight that when they do lose weight without explanation they don't care and just let themselves waste away without caring about the potential health hazards of rapid weight loss.
Me and 千千.
At dinner, this adorable child demanded to sit next to me. Ahh, too cute! Although, I will insist on being called 姊姊 just because I feel too young to be called 阿姨... 大阿姨, to boot!
At KTV (Holiday), my eldest cousin, with the body of a prepubescent girl.

Second cousin (I don't know how to write her name in Chinese... from now on, I will call her YunJie) YunJie with her son, Ah-Jun. Cute little bugger is a little over half a year old.
千千 with her Daddy.
阿媽! Grandma!
阿公! Grandpa! My, they're both aging so rapidly...
We have a maid/nurse who takes care of my grandmother, since my grandmother's movement is now limited due to all the surgery and other issues she's been enduring in the past several years.

( Yvonne, it's the lesbian sign! Aah!) YunJie and her son. I'm pretty sure that skinny, meatless, weak-looking arm is 大姊姊's.
Aww, cute little boy being fed by Big Aunt (or, in his case, Grandaunt)
My grandparents...
... are so cute. Even more so than...
...Ah-Jun? Maybe not. But definitely cute.

ME and the Grandparents! With glasses...
...and without.
The three girls. I just noticed... it's a gradient of color-- YunJie's the lightest (I think her foundation is a shaaade too light for her skin), and then I'm the darkest! And this isn't even DARK for me! Weiiiird, yah? (What makes it worse is that YunJie is complaining about how dark she's been getting)
The three cousins plus the niece/daughter.
The three girls again, with half a head of a little boy.
Hurrah. That was fun. I'll try and post more pictures as often as possible.

Aww, how cute! Everyone looked so different, the last time I visited Taiwan! The new boy, YunJie, is like, adorable. I've never seen hime before, because the mom was still pregnant, when I went to visit...
