So we arrived, and here we are, being touristy in front of the ZOO! Yay!
As animals, we clearly aren't very perceptive, and we had our pictures captured by a motion-triggered camera! Haha... we have been spotted! Humans aren't endangered after all...

What is a trip to the zoo without the requisite PANDA sighting? I think this is the baby, Taishan, although I'm not quite sure. Sadly, I have not been to the zoo in years, so this is the first time I've gotten a chance to see the "baby" of our nation's capitol. Not so baby-like anymore.

An even LARGER hippo. I don't know which I think is cuter-- the pygmy one (two above), or the regular large one (above). Either way, hippos are cool (and quite rotund).
The beavers! They were adorable. There was also a pile of ducklings in their little exhibit. Don't know why. Oh yeah, Anna's looking happy too.
Pucker up! We saw these fish in an Amazonian Rainforest exhibit toward the end of our little romp around the zoo. In fact, it's the last picture I have of the zoo.
